Fresh Start Waste Services

Fresh Start Waste started working with Forest Carbon in March 2019, aiming to mitigate as much of their operational footprint as they were able to collect data for.  This includes so far all waste collection mileage, office and depot energy use, staff travel, and business consumables such as paper, food and drink. CEO Nicola McGrath and Commercial Director Colin Harvey visited their first project, The Gangway at Lowther in Cumbria, in 21st June 2019. The new 13.5 acre woodland, part of a much larger sustainable forest creation programme, will capture 2,125 tonnes of CO2.
