About our partnership

Between 2017 and 2018, Microsoft partnered with Forest Carbon to support the creation of new woodlands in Ireland, with Forest Carbon using the UK Woodland Carbon Code methodology to assess the projects’ carbon potential and additionality.

Through these projects, Microsoft not only drew down carbon but also restored ecosystems, protected wildlife, and left a lasting legacy.
