This new 13 hectare woodland is north of Lanercost, in Cumbria, and close to the Scottish border. The woodland comprises predominantly native broadleaf species, with a small coniferous element. The woodland has been planted for multiple purposes: habitat creation, carbon capture, and low intensity productive use.
